Babe Ruth Adventures MP3

 

The second in our weekly free MP3 offerings. This week; two classic episodes of an old-time radio show, The Babe Ruth Adventures.

I can’t give you much historical background on this show, but here is what we know. The radio show aired for one season, in 1934. Many of the show’s themes were based around a baseball related crime or mystery. A narrator begins each episode, and eventually makes way for Ruth himself, who would then act as the defacto detective. Here’s the first two episodes of the series;
