Heading down to the wire in this Fantasy Baseball season, you still have one trick available to possibly earn one or two more valuable fantasy points.

Now depending on what type of league you are in (daily or weekly transactions, non-keeper format), you could possibly have the option of grabbing a number of free agents for Monday. Most leagues count all regular season stats towards their standings. Extra tie-break games between playoff hopefuls are counted as regular season games as per MLB rulings.

Coming down to the wire, players from the Phillies, Mets, Padres & Rockies could all give you a quick boost. Don’t hesitate to drop anyone on your roster, including studs such as A-Rod. They can’t help you on Monday, as some of these players might.

If anything else, go in and claim players from these teams in order to keep them away from your competition.
