The Buffalo Bisons (AAA International League Affiliate of the NY Mets) held their annual bark in the park event on Saturday, May 26th, 2012.
Set-up / Entrance
The process was straight forward. Myself, my wife and our two dogs were able to gain entry to the game with two GA tickets. The entrance location was towards the back of the Bisons ballpark via the outfield tent/berm area.
Once inside there wasn’t too much to see outside of an adoption/information area. Dogs and owners were able to hang out on the outfield berm, underneath a tent area and anywhere around the outfield pavilion.
12:45 rolled around and it was time for the walk around the park. Everyone piled onto the OF warning track and made their way around the park.
After the lap everything settled down a bit, as dogs could remain in the outfield pavilion area or make their way to a section (122 – 126) of the right field stands and watch the game.
Recommendation?
I really liked the Bisons low-key bark in the park day. Walk around the field, watch the game, share a hot dog. A fun, relaxed day at the ballpark for humans and dogs alike. A yearly event, I give the promotion an easy recommendation for those within driving distance of Buffalo.
