Spring Training Updates: Mop Up Duty Live From Dunedin

The Courtney Campbell Causeway: A stretch of highway that slices through the waters of Tampa Bay.

Some of you might remember the 2 part series I posted last year after my first Spring Training trip to Dunedin, Florida.  I’ll be doing my 2nd trip this year, departing for Dunedin this Wednesday, March 17th.  It is too bad I will be missing the annual piss-up that is St. Patrick’s Day, but it is a small price to pay for a week of spring baseball in the sun.

My schedule is as follows:

March 18th           Jays vs. Orioles                  1:05pm                 Dunedin Stadium

March 19th           51s vs. Indians                   1:05pm                 Dunedin Stadium
March 19th           Phillies vs. Orioles            7:05pm                 Bright House Field

March 20th           Jays vs. Braves                  1:05pm                 Dunedin Stadium

March 21st           Jays vs. Boston                  1:05pm                 Dunedin Stadium

March 22nd          Jays vs. Tigers                    1:05pm                 Dunedin Stadium

I’ll be providing live updates and observations textually, so if you would like to see them you can do so by following me on Twitter: @callumhughson

You also have the option of living vicariously through me.  Is there anything you’ve wanted to experience in Dunedin first second hand?  Now you can! Hit up our comments section and let me know what you would like to see. I anticipate I will be posting summaries of the day’s events each evening and I can give you a shout out/review then.  Don’t hold me to it though – the Dunedin nightlife is very enticing.

Very sharp, fellas. I like the new look of the site.

I would like to see some hardcore Canasta games, where the winner takes 50 G’s.
