What the hell is Ernie doing letting Pete Orr hit not once but twice in potential game changing at-bats? The first situation was with two outs in the 6th, with runners on 2nd and 3rd. A wild pitch scored one. Orr grounds out to first (vs a lefty). In the eighth with a runner on first and one out Orr hits into an inning ending doubleplay.

Hey Ernie, Pete Orr sucks. Why not lift the #9 hitter in these situations? I realize that the bench is god awful but so is Pete Orr.

All in all it was an enjoyable game that was by the numbers. Great to see such an enthusiastic crowd at the Rogers Centre. I also attended the 8pm game. Attendance was about 30,000 less but the soccer-like Venezuelan fans made the game enjoyable.
