I saw the movie “The Bucket List” the other day. Not a bad flick, and it got me to thinking… what would my Baseball-related Bucket List be?
My Baseball Bucket List
1. See Cuban baseball
2. Visit all MLB stadiums
3. Visit the Field of Dreams
4. Play baseball in the Rogers Centre
5. Throw out the first pitch at an MLB game
6. See a Venezuelan Baseball game
7. Go to a Caribbean Series game
8. Go to an Olympic Baseball game
9. Go to a World Baseball Classic game
10. Take batting practice with an MLB team
11. Spend the month of March in Dunedin following the Jays’ Spring Training
12. Go to Cooperstown
13. Go to St. Mary’s (Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame)
14. Play catch with Kelly Gruber
15. Visit San Pedro de Macoris
16. Throw a home run ball back onto the field at Wrigley
17. See Buck O’Neil elected to the Hall of Fame
18. See a Blue Jays player elected to the Hall of Fame wearing a Jays cap
19. Attend a Hall of Fame induction ceremony
20. Attend a baseball fantasy camp
21. Go to Yankee stadium THIS YEAR
22. Visit Birmingham’s Rickwood Field, the oldest ballpark in USA still in use
23. See a College World Series game
24. See a Yankees/Red Sox playoff game
25. Learn from a scout (Keith Law maybe) what they look for while scouting a game
26. See a South African, Israeli, Scottish, Swedish, Australian, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Hawaiian baseball game
27. Attend the “Midnight Game” in Alaska
28. Visit Durham Athletic Park, home of the Durham Bulls
29. See Tom Cheek inducted into the Hall of Fame

Is this a list of things to do in order? Or can you just cross them off as you do them? They all seem pretty doable with exception of play catch with Kelly Gruber or learn the Law of scouting from Keef.
